Welcome to Miss Dance Drill Team USA Now in its 42nd Spectacular Year, “Miss Dance Drill Team USA is the nations most respected and exciting Dance/Drill Team Competitions. Miss Dance Drill Team USA has been dedicated to providing outstanding staging, music, workshops and comradery to hundreds of thousands of students over the years. Miss Dance Drill Team USA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of students through the Pep Arts. It was spearheaded until recently by its energetic and dynamic founder Dr. Kay Crawford, who organized the 1st Modern Drill Team in America (Texas, 1930). The Miss Dance Drill Team USA Pageant originated as a college course at Santa Monica College in California in 1968 as a showcase for the performing arts of Drill Team. And it's still going strong! Kim & Brenda Crawford are continuing the Crawford Family Legacy. Their accomplishments come from many years of hands-on experience in both the Dance Drill Team and Professional Dance World. Brenda also directed and owned Studio “C” School of Performing Arts along with her children, Dennis, Tina & Dee Caspary. Miss Dance Drill Team USA is Internationally renowned and participating Drill Teams have been invited to entertain and perform spectacular productions such as:
Miss Dance Drill Team USA culminates with awards for America’s Best at the Miss Dance Drill Team USA Pageant. The winners represent America in Miss Dance Drill Team International. We are expanding our horizons and working on a greater involvement with other state organizations. We are “United in Spirit” leading the way in “fine arts” education, as well as pursuing Dr. Kay Teer Crawford’s dreams, goals and aspirations for talented youth in America! We look forward to your joining us and continuing the fun at our upcoming 42nd Annual “Miss Dance Drill Team USA” Pageant, April 2, 3 and 4, 2009, in Irvine, California.
